Countries we systematically cover

A country is listed here only when we ingest its official national portal end to end (or, for EU/EEA members, the EU's official TED journal). The sources shown under each name are the portals that actually hold that country's tenders in our database today. Bar length = open tenders today.

These countries have open tenders in our database today because their buyers published through the EU's TED journal. We show them as incidental listings — not full coverage — until their national portals are integrated.

Donor-funded projects only

For these countries we currently hold tenders for World Bank-financed projects only, taken from the World Bank's procurement notices. That is real, biddable work — but it is not the country's own national procurement, so we do not count it as coverage of the country.

How these numbers are made

  1. Open means open. Every count above includes only tenders whose closing time has not passed yet. Where a portal publishes a closing time we use it; where it publishes only a date, the tender counts as open until the end of that day in the buyer's own time zone. Closed and archived tenders are never counted — some competitors count those.
  2. Official sources only. Each tender is ingested from a government portal or official journal (TED, SAM.gov, PNCP, Find a Tender, ProZorro, Etimad, CPPP, service.bund.de, BOAMP, PLACSP, PhilGEPS, PPIP and the rest) and links back to the original notice, so you can verify any tender in one click.
  3. Refreshed daily. All sources re-ingest every day. The snapshot timestamp at the top of this page is written by the same query that produces the numbers.
  4. Honest gaps. Where coverage is partial, we say so here rather than round up. USA coverage spans SAM.gov (federal) plus 10 state portals (Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Indiana, Nevada, New Jersey, and BidBuy multi-state); more states are being added. Australia: AusTender (federal), NSW, WA, QLD, ACT, NT and Tasmania refresh daily; Victoria is a one-off snapshot; SA is not yet readable. Canada: CanadaBuys (federal), SEAO Québec, BC Bid, SaskTenders and Alberta refresh daily. India's central portal lists tenders by reference number only, so Indian titles are reference numbers until you open the notice; Bihar state tenders have full titles. Where a country has both a national portal and TED (France, Germany, UK, Spain, Poland, Netherlands), the same notice can appear on both; we merge those twins daily and keep the national-portal record. Contract values are published by only a minority of portals (TED, UK, Ukraine, AusTender, PNCP), so "value not published" is the normal case elsewhere. Closing dates more than two years out are standing offers, panels or open registrations, and are labelled as such. Portals often re-publish the same notice — a correction on BOAMP, a change notice on TED, one German tender pushed through two platforms — and we hide those re-publications instead of counting them; separate lots are kept as separate tenders. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait tenders require a residential IP to refresh and may lag by a few days when the scheduled run cannot reach them.
Numbers are a point-in-time snapshot and move as tenders open and close throughout the day.
